Developed in Hawaiʻi, LocalPerks lets residents hold their ID in front of their phone’s camera to qualify for local parking benefits. Two U.S. patents protect aspects of the technology, with applications pending across 46 countries.

Hold your ID in front of your phone’s camera and follow the prompts. LocalPerks checks whether your address meets the property’s definition of a local. If you qualify, the parking benefit becomes available for your session.

Welcome verified residents from anywhere in Hawaiʻi. Their home island or neighborhood does not limit eligibility.
Offer the benefit to verified residents of one or more islands. Select islands below to explore an example.
Choose the ZIP codes your program serves. Residents whose verified addresses fall within those areas receive the local benefit. Select or deselect an area to explore.
A resort or golf community may share a ZIP code with homes outside its boundaries. Select your community’s streets so only residents with a verified address there qualify for the parking perk. Select or deselect streets to explore.
With LocalPerks, you can introduce paid visitor parking while offering free or discounted parking to eligible residents. Participation is optional, and your property sets the benefit and eligibility rules.
The property’s share of parking revenue can support maintenance, infrastructure improvements, common-area costs or reserves. The rates, resident benefit and use of proceeds are determined for each property.

PARKLINQ does not store your ID image on its servers. Stripe stores verification data under its own retention policies, including information held on behalf of the business requesting verification. Not storing an ID image on PARKLINQ’s servers does not mean that Stripe immediately deletes it.
